My husband says that he couldn’t have planned a better day or town to have a heart attack in. He can joke about it now, but we were surely frightened that day. We live in Sarasota, so he was already unfamiliar with the area. He began to have chest pain. He called 911. He was only two blocks away from the hospital, but I was two and a half hours away.

While racing to his side I kept calling for updates. When I arrived I saw how busy your ER was. No one could have known this as your staff remained professional, loving and patient. What a gift you have in your staff and what a compliment to you all. Everyone we met was amazing; from your ER staff to everyone involved with your Heart Center.

Our Dear Lord was with us throughout this ordeal and truly lives within the walls of Citrus Memorial Health System and in the hearts of everyone involved in this incredible hospital."
